This famed ceramic artist makes Andean figures with a style full of color and smiles. Salt shakers, nativity scenes, bells, angels, pencil holders, all fired at high temperature in electric ovens which makes them more durable and suitable for export.

Here in the Bolivian Highlands, we have been perfecting our techniques to achieve very marketable products and win prizes. We are a group that shows that a poor peasant can succeed doing what they like and in turn support their community.

We want to show that craftsmanship is an honorable profession that can get us out of poverty and which dignifies us as a people because it rescues our culture, our skills, and ourselves.
We are now supporting poor youth who, while working as artisans, also study for professional careers in order to have more opportunities to better themselves. To this end, fair trade supports us to sell more and help more.
